Personal data that we process

Green Connector processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide these data to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we process:

  • First and last name
  • Address details
  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address
  • IP-address
  • Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by contacting us. via our website, in letters or e-mail and by telephone
  • Information about your activities on our website
  • Information about your surfing behaviour across different websites (e.g. because you follow a link from an external website in our publications)

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect information about website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have permission from parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16 years of age. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities in order to prevent the collection of information about children without parental consent. For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?

Green Connector processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Handling your contact request, assignment, payment, etc.
  • Sending our newsletter and/or advertising leaflet
  • To be able to call or email you if this is necessary in order to provide our services
  • Inform you about changes to our services and products
  • To deliver goods and services to you
  • Green Connector analyses your behaviour on the website in order to improve the website and adapt the range of products and services offered in line with your preferences with Google Analytics.
  • Green Connector also processes personal data if we are legally required to do so. such as the information we need for our tax return.

Automated decision making

On the basis of automated processing, Green Connector does not make decisions about matters that could have (considerable) consequences for individuals. These are decisions that are made by computer programs or systems, without a person (for example an employee of Green Connector) in between. Green Connector uses the following computer programs or systems: TOPFIND Content Management Systems (CMS) for maintaining websites, web servers, for hosting our website, Apache 2.0 and other software necessary for processing data, such as Windows and Office programs.

How long we keep personal data

Green Connector will not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data are collected. We use the statutory retention periods for personal data.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Green Connector only provides services to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Green Connector only uses technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and remember, for example, your preferences. We use Google Analytics with the anonymization function. By this addition, Google shortens and anonymises the IP address of the internet connection of the person concerned when he or she visits our internet pages from a member state of the European Union or another state that is a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

You can disable Google Analytics with a browser add-on if you do not want this analysis. You can download this add-on here.

User-based event data in Google Analytics will be deleted after 38 months.

Viewing, modifying or deleting data

No personal data is stored on our website. You have the right to let us, correct or delete your personal data if we process it for administrative reasons because you are our customer or supplier. In addition, you have the right to revoke any consent for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Green Connector and you have the right to data transferability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organisation mentioned by you. You can send a request for inspection, correction, removal, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your permission or objection to the processing of your personal data to martha[at]greenconnector.nl . In order to ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identification document with the request. Make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Burgerservicenummer (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
